Went out with my friend George early this am. We loaded the net and hit the bay with some live bunker to feed to a few bass. And that we did! The first hr we boated 10 Bass, it was non stop action on every drift. The fish are getting bigger every day now guys so if you want to get in on it let me no. Bluefish were also in the mix chomping baits as usual. Good times George! Thanks!

Went out monday early am with friend George and loaded up on live Bunker. Bait is scattered throught the bay with big blues and bass pushing them.
Hit the local spots this am solo along with a few friends on there boats. Had 3 Bass up to 38in and some BIG blues to 12lbs. Hard to get past em, everytime you reel up you had a few following the baits up. Will keep on em and see how it all turns out, should be ready to take off next week, and fishing should get hot! Call me to get in on the action!

Shot out this am for first fishing trip of the season! Lots of action today, but it was all blues. Nasty east wind we have as well. But it was still good to get the rod bending again. The bass are around guys but its just starting. Cant wait for another two weeks.. we should start seeing more bait and better fish! This week looks alittle iffy with the weather. But we will start making some night trips in a few days to get things started.

The boat is in, and its time to start fishing!!! Took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and took the trip from seaford to brightwaters to get her home. Going to start fishing this week to start to locate some fish. We should be all ready to start running charters/open boat trips come second week of may. Cant wait to see everyone this season, and i look forward to having you on board with me!

Hey guys. Its almost time to kick off the 2013 season! My boat is getting her spring tune up as we speak and is almost ready to roll. We had some cold weather as of late, and the water temps are still cold. Should be getting into a good bite come early May so call ahead to book your trips, and stay tuned to the reports! Don’t forget, new to the 2013 season we will be offering an after work special for 2. Call me for details and check out the charter page. We also will be updating our directions page, as we will be operating out of Brightwaters instead of Copiague this season. Hope to see everyone real soon!

Bob Wilson from the Ward Melville Fishing club put on an amazing day for everyone! There was a lot of great new faces and lots of familiar ones as well. My seminar was great, i thank all of you who attended! I hope I answered everyone’s questions after. If anyone has anything else they forgot to ask, feel free to email me or call! Bob also informed me that he is going to try to make this a yearly event! We are all looking forward to being back again next year and teaching the future of our sport.

Hey guys! The bass are starting to stack up in the bay with all the bait that is starting to move. I made a quick recon run the other night and had a few fish in the high teens, and one pushing 25lbs. at night on live bait . We also made a run last night ( even though we new the high winds against the tide was going to make it difficult), but i wanted to spend a night with my good friend Lou. Drifting live baits was a no go for sure as the high winds against tide messed up our drift REEL bad and could not present our baits correctly. So we decided to head in a bit and tuck away and threw some soft plastics and got the skunk off the boat with some 34 inch cookie cutter fish. Lots of bait flipping last night, its just going to keep getting better!
